I've had a thing for snakes for quite a long time, but it's illegal to have a snake as a pet in Norway. But recently I found that some people are actually working to repeal this law and allow a few species like corn snake and python regius (among other reptiles) to become legal pet animals. And that triggered my love for snakes once again.
I really, really, REALLY want a snake. Really. They're so fascinating. And adorable. And not to mention hardcore.

I don't get why people are so afraid of snakes. They're just like any other animals; they just don't have any limbs.
Some people say that they're afraid of getting bit by snakes, but I mean, come on. Dogs bite, cats bite, mice and birds bite, but people have those animals as pets and that's perfectly okay, right? What's so different about snakes? Sure, some snakes are poisonous, but very few are actually. And snakes ALWAYS bite as a last resort to defend themselves if they feel threatened. Most of the times they just pretend to bite so to scare the enemy away. They rarely actually bite someone. Unless they're hungry, and snakes never feed on humans. We're too big. Unless the snake is like thirty feet long.

So if the one reading this has a fear of snakes, I'd like to hear why. And I don't want to hear anything like 'cause they're creepy/disgusting/gross', because that's just childish.
They're really not as dangerous as people think. Most of the time they're very harmless. And cuddly. :3

And they're not slimy. If you think snakes are slimy, you're an idiot. Their body is made of shells. Shells are SMOOTH, not slimy.
